Our History
Diversified Radiology of Colorado, P.C. began in 1927 with Kenneth D. A. Allen, M.D. His pioneer spirit and commitment to quality patient care continues to be the cornerstone of Diversified Radiology.
Diversified Radiology of Colorado, P.C. is the result of the recent joining of three well-known and respected Denver radiology groups:
In August of 1996, Diversified Radiology joined with Metropolitan Radiology (serving Mercy, Avista Hospital, North Suburban Medical Center and Platte Valley Medical Center), and in March of 1997, merged with Western Radiology (Serving Exempla St. Joseph Hospital). The resulting group, now known collectively as Diversified Radiology of Colorado, P.C. , provides unprecedented subspecialty expertise in diagnostic imaging.
Our combined efforts have created an entity capable of providing state-of-the art diagnostic and interventional radiology services to the entire metropolitan area and beyond.
